Domestic Abuse
Support

In immediate danger? Call 999.

Domestic abuse can affect anyone, at any stage of life.

It can involve physical, emotional, psychological, financial or coercive control, and often develops alongside isolation, fear and loss of confidence. Leaving or seeking help is rarely straightforward and may involve significant risk.

We support people experiencing domestic abuse to find safety, stability and the space to rebuild. Our work is informed by individual circumstances, recognising the importance of choice, control and dignity at every stage.

Getting Support

If you are experiencing domestic abuse, help is available.

Support may include access to safe accommodation, practical and emotional support, or help to remain safely in your own home. People can access this directly or through referral, depending on the service.

If you are in immediate danger, call 999.

REFUGES

Refuges

We provide refuge accommodation for women and children experiencing domestic abuse.

Refuges offer self-contained properties in secure locations, with support available 24 hours a day. The focus is on immediate safety, emotional support and helping people stabilise after leaving an abusive situation.

Support works with both adults and children, helping families process what has happened and begin to rebuild a sense of security and confidence.
